Falcons Esports Camp
The Falcons Esports Summer Camp is a co-ed camp for kids ages 9-14. The camp is filled with activities, a chance to meet new friends, and have fun while gaining valuable skills beyond gaming. Campers will participate in indoor activities that focus on decision making, non-toxic gaming, and teamwork. All campers will learn new strategies, create a better gaming environment, and have fun.
Daily Schedule:
Each session will provide an in-depth learning experience, including game overviews, and skill development related to game strategy, awareness and in-game skills. Campers will get an equal amount of time on each game to continue developing new skills throughout the week, culminating in a tournament at week's end.
Here is a breakdown of the daily schedule:
Day 1: Introduction and Rules, as well as an overview on each game
Day 2: Skill Development, including a rotation through all stations.
Day 3: Skill Development, focused on game strategy and awareness
Day 4: Tournament Preparation, including Q&A and strategy
Day 5: Tournament Day, rotation through all games/stations
Course schedule:
This year's camp will run daily from July 7 to July 11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (half hour lunch built into the day). Families have the option of registering for the full day or morning only (8 a.m. to 11 a.m.).
A minimum of 10 campers is required for the camp's session to run, with a maximum of 25 campers per session.
Games
The Esports Camp will showcase several popular computer and console games. In order for campers to participate, they must have the following games added to their personal game account:
- Fortnite - Must already be added to their Epic games library
- Valorant - Must already be added to their Riot games library
- Marvel Rivals - Must already be added to their Steam games library
Saint Joe's will provide access to the following games to all students:
- Mario Kart
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Cost:
Full Day: $350 per camper
Morning Only (8 a.m. to 11 a.m.): $250 per camper
