Saint Joseph Drone Camp
Develop STEAM skills and earn money becoming a professional drone pilot! Through this class, you will get the skills needed to pass your Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 test.
This is an interactive class, where you'll learn the basics of flying a drone, capturing photo and video, too! The summer session includes:
- Complete instruction on the five key areas of the Part 107 exam: Regulations, Airspace, Weather, Loading & Performance and Operations.
- How to successfully plan your first drone assignment.
- Quizzes at the end of every class, to track your progress.
- A mock FAA part 107 exam for you to take at the end of the session.
- Ample opportunity for questions and answers.
The Class dates are:
July 1, July 8, July 15, July 24 (Friday), and July 29.
The camp runs from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Short Bio: Joe Martucci ('09), is the owner of Cup A Joe Weather and Drone® and Sky High Scenes. Joe earned his commercial drone license in 2020 and quickly became the go-to aerial photographer and videographer for The Press of Atlantic City. There, he captured everything from tornado damage to features like filming the entire Atlantic City Boardwalk. As a business owner, Joe's now drones nearly every beach town in New Jersey, many times more than once.
Joe shares his passion for drone technology as an adjunct professor in Kean University’s Ocean Campus drone minor program, one of only two such programs in the state.
