Students will be tested and placed in appropriate level courses. This will allow them to advance to the next level in each subject area furthering their academic development. They will strengthen their foundation in reading, writing, public speaking, mathematics, science, world language and the arts.
They will not receive high school credit or be awarded a transcript as they are not high school students. However, students who successfully complete the course requirements, may have the opportunity to advance to the next level course in each of their successfully completed
subject areas.
Here is a sample curriculum:
English: Research and Composition
Mathematics: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II or Precalculus
Science: Environmental Science
Social Studies: Global Issues
World Language: German I, Latin I or Spanish I (Note: Students will have the opportunity to complete II, III, IV and Advanced Placement in grades 9-12)
Theology: Brothers of the Sacred Heart - Missionary Spirit
Electives: Physical Education, Exploring Computer Science, Digital Media
Students will complete placement exams to confirm course selections
