The defending New Jersey State Champion Saint Joseph Bowling Team is ready to take on the competition as they move into the upcoming season. Head coach Russell Thomsen and the team feel confident that they will dominate this year in the Greater Middlesex Conference and move forward to statewide events.
Led by a quintet of returning champions, including Devon Kiessling '24, EJ Chin '24, Alexander Kozak '24, William Cunningham '26 and Kai Strothers '26, Saint Joe's is coming off an undefeated campaign, taking home the Greater Middlesex Conference title and the NJSIAA Boys Bowling Group 2 trophy.
Strothers and Kiessling finished No. 1 and No. 2 in the state, leading to the Falcons being named the top bowling team in New Jersey.
Following the season, Thomsen was named the New Jersey Boys Bowling Coach of the Year.
