***Welcome To The 2022-2023 Season***

 

After a highly successful 2021 season, the Saint Joseph Wrestling Team looks to improve heading into the 2022 season. 

Head Coach Mike Carbone is entering his 3rd season with the team and helped to jump-start the Falcons wrestling program. Carbone is 28-5 during his career at Saint Joe’s. 

The Falcons went 20-4 last year, including a second place finish in the GMC Championships. Saint Joe’s will be led by Vincent Genna ‘23, Evan Mendez 23’, Giovanni Alejandro 23’, Jake Tulli 23’, as well as Junior Brian Christie ‘24 for the upcoming season.

Notable Alumni include Anthony Bistani ‘22 who is currently wrestling for the Steven’s Institute of Technology, David Rosenfarb ‘22 who is wrestling for Muhlenberg, and Nico Calello ‘22 who is wrestling for Kent State.

Five years after making their comeback, the Saint Joe’s wrestling team has officially made it to the top, dominating the 2023 Greater Middlesex Conference tournament. 

Led by 138-pounder Giovanni Alejandro ‘23, the Falcons took Middlesex County by storm, winning five individual championships and the overall team title at the 2023 Greater Middlesex Conference Team Tournament.
