The wrestling team completed their 2023-2024 campaign with a stunning 20-5 record that included team championships at the Egg Harbor Christmas Tournament, the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament and the NJSIAA District 15 tournament. 

Led by head coach Mike Carbone, the Falcons have turned from an up and coming program to the class of the Greater Middlesex Conference.

Key dual meet victories included an out-of-state victory over Tottenville to open the season, a 2-1 showing at the Catholic School Duals in early January, and non-public victories over Donovan Catholic Monsignor Farrell (NY), St. Thomas Aquinas, Red Bank Catholic and DePaul Catholic. 

In the 2024 NJSIAA Team Tournament, Saint Joe's defeated Seton Hall Prep in the opening round, before falling to Delbarton in the section quarterfinals. 

The Falcons were led on the mat by Brian Christie '24, who earned his 100th career victory and his 100th career pin in a stellar senior campaign. Christie's highlight of the season was placing third at the Beast of the East Tournament, Saint Joe's highest finish in tournament history. 

Other key contributors to the 2023-2024 season include:

• Zachary Beadling '25 (126 pounds), who placed first in the NJSIAA Region 4
• Morgan Schwarz '26 (138 pounds), who was one victory away from becoming the third consecutive medalist at the NJSIAA Individual State Championships
• Tyyer Whitford '26 (157 pounds), who has qualified for the NJSIAA Individual Championships in each of his first two seasons
• Julian Arango '26 (106 pounds), who qualified for his first career state tournament appearance during the 2023-2024 season.

Notable alumni include Giovanni Alejandrjo '24, who is currently wrestling at Rider University, Evan Mendez '24, who wrestles at Muhlenburg, Anthony Bistani ‘22, who is currently wrestling for the Steven’s Institute of Technology, David Rosenfarb ‘22 who is wrestling for Muhlenberg, and Nico Calello ‘22 who is wrestling for Kent State.
