Team Overview
HISTORY
One of the most storied programs in school history, the Saint Joseph Track & Field program has been raising trophies since the mid-1960s. The program has won three overall state titles, 19 Middlesex County Relay Championships and 16 overall county championships.
TRAINING
The Track & Field team trains on Brenner Family Field during the Winter and Spring seasons (two separate teams). The Winter Track season runs from December until late February. The Spring Track season runs from March through June. When not in active competition season, members of the Track & Field team participate in weight lifting and conditioning in Woodburn Hall.
TEAMS LEVELS & COMPETITION
Saint Joe's offers two levels of competition each Track & Field season (varsity and junior varsity). Aside from regularly competing in the Greater Middlesex Conference track & field circuit, the team participates in numerous high profile events across New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania and southern New York.

Meet the Coaches
Track & Field Coaches
Dimitri Hirschman ’23 is the Head Track & Field Coach and Assistant Cross Country Coach at Saint Joseph High School in Metuchen, New Jersey. A member of the school’s Class of 2023, Hirschman returned to his alma mater to help guide the Falcons’ track and cross country programs, working closely with student-athletes to develop their performance, discipline, and competitive mindset. In his coaching role, he supports athletes across multiple track and field events while helping strengthen the school’s long-standing tradition of athletic excellence.
