Team Overview
HISTORY
The Saint Joseph Golf team dominated Middlesex County in the late 2000s and early 2010s, including four straight Greater Middlesex Conference tournaments (2010-2013). Most recently, the Falcons won a GMC Division title in 2024.
TRAINING
The Golf team plays their home matches and daily practice rounds at Metuchen Golf & Country Club.
TEAMS LEVELS & COMPETITION
Saint Joe's fields a varsity golf program that competes annually in the Spring season (late March through early May).

Meet the Coaches
Golf Coaches
Ryan Lechner is a Social Studies teacher, Director of Transportation, and Head Golf Coach at Saint Joseph High School. In the classroom, he engages students with thoughtful instruction and a passion for history and civic understanding. As Head Golf Coach, Lechner leads the Falcons' golf program, fostering both competitive skill development and a commitment to sportsmanship among his student‑athletes. His diverse roles at Saint Joe’s reflect his dedication to the school community and to helping students grow academically, athletically, and personally.
