The Saint Joseph Golf Team looks to get back to their glory days in the upcoming 2024 season.

Coming off an impressive 13-4 season last spring, the Falcons return Nick Campanella ‘24, Ned Rossi ‘24, Jack Purcell ‘24, and EJ Chin ‘24, with Matt Yacykewych ‘27 joining GMC White Division contender,  

Entering his 21st season with the team, head coach Ryan Lechner is on pace to win his 250th career match early in the season. Lechner has won four GMC Individual Championships and eight GMC Team Championships.

Two former Falcons have won the Individual State Sectional Championships, Sean Fitzpatrick ‘07 and Brian Fitzpatrick ‘13, as well as two team state sectional championships in 1999 and 2000. Sean Fitzpatrick’s success led to him being inducted into the Saint Joseph Athletics Hall of Fame. 

Since 2010, the Falcons hold a 139-36 record as well as one undefeated season in 2011.

Coach Lechner has seen a lot of success with his golf team in the past but has gone through some up and down years as of late. This year, he looks to change that.
