Cross Country

The 2025 Saint Joseph High School Cross Country team enters the season with a renewed commitment to discipline, consistency, and performance. Under the direction of new head coach Ian Wiesinger '19, the Falcons are building off a strong spring track season with a core of emerging distance talent.

Top returners include GMC Freshman Champion Robert Cahill '28, along with Dean Wubbenhorst '26 and Joey Hajduk '27, both of whom posted impressive 3200-meter times during the outdoor season. Kevin Watson '27 brings momentum from a breakout year, while senior Jayden Dela Plaza '26 and juniors Andrew Alvarez '27 and Vijay Montoya '27 round out a focused varsity group.

The team will compete at the nationally recognized Paul Short Run at Lehigh University this fall.

Goals for the season include winning the division championship and averaging 18:20 among the top five runners at the Non-Public A Championships.

With a strong summer of training already complete, the Falcons are poised to take a significant step forward as a program.
