The Saint Joe’s baseball program is one of the top teams in not only New Jersey, but the entire East Coast.

The Falcons are coming off a Greater Middlesex Conference championship in 2023, defeating North Brunswick in the title game. Saint Joe’s plays one of the most challenging schedules in the state, squaring up against perennial state contenders on a yearly basis, including Gloucester Catholic, Saint Peter’s Prep,

Following the graduation of a star-studded senior class in 2023 that included many 3-year starters, including Mark Gialluisi (University of Virginia) and James Mulvaney (Fairfield University), the 2024 campaign will be an opportunity for talented young players to emerge as new leaders.

Key returning players include Robert Christensen ‘25, Joseph Zammitti, Matthew Friedman ‘25, Joseph Barca '25, Connor Walker '26 and JP Zayle '25.

This talented group of upperclassmen lead a slew of newcomers hoping to make an immediate impact, including: John Palermo ‘25, Luke Palermo ‘27, Domenic Erbafina ‘25, Christian Salgado ‘24,  Danny Internoscia ‘25, Richie Zangara ‘25 and Reid Bazydlo ‘26.

Aside from playing in one of the most difficult divisions in New Jersey (the Greater Middlesex Conference Red Division), Saint Joe’s will tackle a difficult non-conference schedule that includes national powerhouse Don Bosco, and state championship contenders Bergen Catholic, Saint Peter’s Prep, Seton Hall Prep and Hunterdon Central.

The Falcons are coached by former San Francisco Giants prospect and Wake Forest catcher Michael Murray.
