During the weekend of March 31st, the Catanzaro Stage will be transformed into a living reenactment of the stories of the Holy Bible, when the Saint Joseph Theatre Company performs the musical Godspell.
Godspell is a 1971 musical co-created by Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak, which follows several vignettes from the Bible, including the Gospel of Matthew’s version of the Passion of Christ.
Recounting these stories through a combination of pop, folk, rock, and traditional hymns, Godspell is a musical that can be enjoyed by all. Come by the Catanzaro Theatre to experience the musical event of the spring!
