On the back of stellar defense and exceptional goaltending, the Saint Joseph soccer team has dominated the Greater Middlesex Conference Red Division.

Since playing to a 1-1 draw at New Brunswick on September 7, the Falcons have not allowed a goal in five matches.

Goalkeeper Troy Boucher ‘25, a Coast Guard Academy commit, has made 32 saves on the season to lead the charge.

On the offensive side of the ball, 10 different Saint Joe’s players have tallied a point, including five different goal scorers. Joseph Marinello ‘26 leads the team with four goals, with Rodger Ward ‘25, Xavier Welbeck-Taveras ‘27 and Noah Charnnecky ‘27 each ripping in two a piece. Lucas Manrique ‘25 has dished out five assists.

The Falcons host St. Thomas Aquinas in the opening round of the GMC World Cup, a revamped version of the Greater Middlesex Conference tournament that is structured like the Fifa World Cup.

The game will kickoff at 6 p.m. under the lights at Brenner Field Field.
