- Athletics
Spring signing day was extremely fruitful for the Saint Joseph High School Class of 2023.
15 student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers in college on Wednesday, May 3.
Eight athletic programs were represented, including four members of the wrestling team.
Joshua Ingram (Lehigh University basketball), Tanner Tighelaar (Bucknell University crew), Matthias Topping (Marist College crew), Giancarlos Garay (NJIT soccer), Jakub Cielak (NJIT soccer), Omari Jones (Saint Peter’s University track & field) and Giovanni Alejandro (Rider University wrestling) all signed to play NCAA Division I athletics.
In total, 26 members of the Class of 23 have already signed on to a college athletic program, with several more student-athletes currently being recruited.
