- Rotary Senior of the Month
William Kwiatkowski
Will, from Metuchen, is a senior and member of the National Honor Society at Saint Joseph High School and is active both in and out of the Saint Joseph community. A member of Campus Ministry, he currently sits on the Campus Ministry Council where he has had the opportunity to put his faith into action through various service opportunities and committees including president of Falcon & Friends, member of the Respect Life and Gospel of John clubs, Kairos retreat leader and volunteer on JusticeWorx service trips. Will is a four-year member of the Saint Joseph baseball team, broadcaster and podcaster for the Media Club, a contributor to the school’s newspaper and statistician and journalist to the football team. Outside of school, Will frequently volunteers at his parish and is a founding member of the Life Choices Resource Center Student Ambassador Program. Will will continue to pursue his passion for writing and sports this fall at Indiana University in the Media School Honors Program where he will pursue a career in sports media and journalism.
John Risley
John was raised in Edison, NJ, and attended St. Francis Cathedral School in Metuchen for elementary and middle school. Since arriving at Saint Joseph High School, John has become involved in many clubs and activities such as varsity baseball, Campus Ministry, Pre-Med Club, Science and Latin National Honor Societies, and others. Through Campus Ministry, John has gone on week-long service trips to Trenton, NJ, and Dunlow, WV, and has gotten heavily involved in on-campus service projects. John plans on attending the University of Notre Dame next year, studying Pre-Medicine in order to further his passion for helping others through his career.
