Jake Dayton
Jake, from Edison, New Jersey, is a senior at Saint Joseph High School and a four-year student-athlete on the football team. Jake worked hard in his studies taking honors and AP classes and became a member of the National Honor Society. Jake enjoys sports and has devoted a great deal of time volunteering with the Special Olympics of New Jersey so he could share his passion for sports with the participating athletes. He has also worked throughout high school as a baseball umpire. Jake plans on attending Rutgers University where he wants to study Psychology.
Michael Armao
Michael, a senior at St. Joseph High School, is currently the captain of the robotics team. He’s led a group of over 40 students, organizing after school meetings. Outside of school, he completed his Eagle Scout project this past summer, where he rebuilt and refurbished garden beds at his former elementary school to help restart their farm-to-table program. He’s also given back by helping the Hands of Hope Food Pantry, helping to build new shelving units to improve their operations. Michael plans to attend New York University in the fall to study biomolecular engineering.
