Religious Values

VALUES IN CURRICULUM

Christian values are inherent in all disciplines. Through the articulation of these values and through efforts to discover the mystery of God’s self-revelation in all branches of learning, the teacher brings a Christian perspective to the classroom. We believe that classroom prayer is a means of making students more conscious of the presence of God in creation, in daily events, in others, and in the learning process.

SPIRITUAL FORMATION

The religious life of the school and the spiritual development of students are the responsibility of all members of the school community. We consider the leadership of the Theology Department and the Campus Ministry team to be vital in the expression of the religious mission of the school. Campus Ministry Partners in Mission (faculty and staff) and Theology Department members serve as role models and resources to other Partners in Mission so that the mission of the school may be better accomplished.
